the only thing better is a snow day! and the only thing that ups a snow day is going to bed, guilt free, knowing full well you have the day off the night before. i've got a tall glass of juice beside me, an early morning neocitran buzz and the forum. all that's missing is a st bernard at the foot of the bed.

ahhh sick days...

now to the music!

I suggest 6-25-85 for both of you. And I'm jealous, by the way, as I've been in my office since 6:45 already.

This is a beautiful recording with a long first set and some of the most fiery Garcia leads of the 80s.

morning, pat

when i come up for air, i'll be sure to try your recommendation on for size. '85 is prretty much unchartered water for me, so i appreciate the heads up.

btw, is dover lake camping area still around? (near the old richfield coliseum) spent one of the best post show, doze filled nights of my life there... early sept '91.

If I remember, Dover Lake closed its water park in 2004 or 2005. I'm not sure if the camping area is still over there. I live and work in the east suburbs of Cleveland and never really get out that way too much.

Enjoy the day for all of us in our office spaces.

Great picture. From wiki it says there are many glacial potholes in the Ermosa River. Are these pools of water to swim and fish? Sounds like fun to wander from pool to pool.

It would be a shame if you were sick tomorrow as well. Four day weekends are hard to handle. ;-)
